Gibson
// Join the family
Brand: Gibson
Role: Concept / Art Direction / 3D
Owning a Gibson has never been just about buying a guitar: it means joining a noble lineage of sound. To express this heritage and sense of belonging, we needed a strong visual language. That's how we revived the ancient tradition of heraldry and created coats of arms for the brand's legendary guitar families: the Les Paul, the ES-335, and the SG. The special twist is that each crest was assembled entirely from the specific parts of the guitar model it represents, taking the instrument apart to rebuild its historical identity.
The campaign began with high-impact print and out-of-home pieces that introduced this new visual language. To make the experience even more memorable, the concept came to life as imposing, life-size sculptures placed in Gibson's flagship stores, turning these spaces into true temples of rock history and the community around it.
As a result, buying a Gibson came to mean joining a legendary bloodline, which strengthened the brand's perceived value and reinforced its deep legacy.
